Space Soldiers and Bravado have qualified for the WESG Global Finals by winning their respective semi-finals of the Africa and Middle East Regional Finals.

Yesterday eight teams stood in the group stage of WESG Africa and Middle East regional finals, taking place in Dubai, and fought for their share of the $75,000 prizepool as well as three spots at the Global Finals taking place in December in China.

Favourites Space Soldiers, who fielded Engin "⁠MAJ3R⁠" Küpeli instead of Tugay "⁠TuGuX⁠" Keskin, ran through Group A with ease, only dropping 16 rounds in total over three maps, while the Jordanian side Chosen5 took second place.

Space Soldiers and Bravado secure spots at the WESG Global Finals 

South African number one Bravado won Group B in a narrow fashion with the second Turkish team, DarkPassage, grabbing second place.

The Turks then met each other in the first semi-final, where Ismailcan "⁠XANTARES⁠" Dörtkardeş' team faced their first tough match but ended up on top after three maps, securing one of the spots at the Global Finals.

Bravado then took down Chosen5 in a confident manner, only conceding five rounds on Train and eight on Cache.
