Swedish team DenDD have won the third edition of 99Damage's Masters series over SK Gaming 2-0 (16-6 on de_cbble and 16-11 on de_overpass), scooping up $10,000 as a result. 99Damage Masters #3 was the culmination of the German organisation's five Arena Cups, bringing the teams which scored the most points into a final online tournament with $20,000 in cash on the line. The tournament featured a best-of-three GSL group stage and double elimination playoffs, and by the end it was four teams who advanced to the playoffs: Vexed Gaming, SK Gaming, nEophyte (who replaced fraternitas), and DenDD (who replaced CPH Wolves following that team's recent roster issues).
By tournament's end, it was ultimately DenDD, a Swedish mix comprising two players whose contractual status with Copenhagen Wolves is still unclear, who managed to trump all opposition, which included humbling Casper "cadiaN" Møller and co. of SK Gaming in the grand final. As a result of their efforts, the Swedish team take home $10,000 and first place. The team is also expected to compete at ASUS ROG Nordic Challenge in the coming weeks, which seems to imply they plan on sticking together for now. 99Damage Masters #3Best of 3
